Import costs, in plain English. Orders of £135 or less: the shop should add UK VAT at checkout. Over £135: VAT (and any duty) is charged when the parcel arrives, usually by the courier, who may add a handling fee. Compare the landed price with the UK price before you buy.

The Global Card Investor is run from Gibraltar by the holder of a Gibraltar OFT business licence, who is the data controller for anything you give us. Contact: hello@dealradar.cards.
What we collect. Your email address (including if you ask to hear when Insider opens) and, if you buy, the name and email Stripe passes to us. There is no tracking, no analytics, no advertising pixels and no cookies on this site.
Payments. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Who sees it. Nobody outside The Global Card Investor. We do not sell, rent or share your details. They are stored with Supabase (EU region) and emails are sent by our email provider.
Your rights. Ask for a copy of what we hold, a correction or deletion, and we will do it. Reply to any email or write to us to unsubscribe.
Information and education only. Nothing we publish is investment, financial or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any card or product. Collectible prices can fall as well as rise, and past movements do not predict future ones.
Prices and stock. Prices are estimates drawn from recent market data and shop listings at the time we checked. Shops sell out and change prices; always check before you buy.
You buy, not us. We don't sell cards. Any purchase is between you and the shop, under their terms. We earn nothing from shop links.
Subscriptions. The weekly brief is billed monthly through Stripe. Cancel whenever you like and you keep access to the end of the month you've paid for.
Insider. Not yet on sale. Leaving your email only means we'll tell you when they open; it doesn't sign you up or commit you to anything.
The Academy. A one-off digital purchase, emailed to you. If it doesn't arrive within 24 hours, reply to your receipt and we'll put it right.
